I’ve worked in the field of employer branding for more than 25 years, following a degree in French and German at the University of Liverpool.
Now working as an independent consultant, I’ve spent the greater part of my career working for agencies such as TMP, Park and AIA.
During the last decade, I have delivered employee insight and EVP projects for clients as diverse, as demanding and as inspiring as Unilever, Virgin Media, Santander, Dyson, Sainsbury’s, Telefonica, the University of Sheffield, Spire Healthcare and HS2.
Some of these projects have lasted months and taken in different cultures, different languages and different timezones. Others, perhaps less time, definitely less travel, but no less focus and professionalism.
Getting to the heart of an employee base, getting to understand what makes them tick and what could be done to make that tick more aligned, more confident and more positive is what drives me.
I’ve spoken at industry events in conjunction with major publishers and the AGR, even finding myself as far afield as Kiev in the Ukraine.
With media channels diversifying and fragmenting, with more generations in the workforce than perhaps ever before, with economic reality clashing with the economic sentiment of Brexit, there has rarely been more in the way of confusion, ambiguity and opaqueness for both UK employers and employees.
Creating clarity in the face of such apparent contradiction is what I’d love to work with you to construct.
